FAQs

All your questions, answered!

Northwoods Soda is a company that has been handcrafting sodas and syrups for almost 40 years. We are NOT Wild Bill’s Soda Company. If you are looking for them, please click here.

We sweeten all of our Soda Stream syrups with cane sugar. The diet flavors are sweetened with a mixture of Splenda and acesulfame potassium.

Northwoods Soda does not sell our soda stream syrups anywhere but directly from our shop. We give you the option to customize your soda and due to the wide arrange of flavors available we are unable to stock these in any retail places

We do not add caffeine to any flavor; however the Cola flavors come to us already caffeinated. The amount of caffeine in a Cola is about half of a Coke.

All of our soda streams are a 5+1 ratio – therefore mix 5 parts water to 1 part syrup.

Since our ratio is 5+1 then a gallon should yield 6 gallons of ready-to-drink soda.

What we have listed online is not a complete list of flavors offered – this is just most of our base flavors. If you would like additional flavors added or something changed, just note that in the special request space provided. Feel free to contact us directly if you have any other flavor-related questions.

We use FedEx ground for all of our shipping needs – the shipping costs are calculated through their website.

Currently, we are only a production facility so we do not have a shop nor are we set up for tours – however, we can point you in the direction of many stores in the area that carry our products!

Everything outside of the Traverse City area is delivered by distributors. We do not have a complete list of all stores but we do try to upload store info quarterly or as we receive them from our distributors.

Since we are not set up as a store we work through our customers that are stores. Please contact us to find a store in your area that can take care of this for you!
